CONNECTING ADULTS at CROSS POINTE
40 Days puzzle picWe are excited about the small groups that we currently offer for adults, but we are even more excited about their growth this Fall as we make a concerted effort to expand them as we focus on creating community here at Cross Pointe.  We believe that you will grow faster and deeper in your walk with Christ and His church if you are able to be involved in a small group.  Here are many of the groups we offer at Cross Pointe.  This is certainly not a complete list, but it will give you a glimpse at what we offer to help you make a stronger connection with God and each other through small group ministries.

Sunday School Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15am throughout our facility.  Here's a list of our current Sunday School classes:
  • New Generations Class (Singles) taught by Jeff Layfield
  • Young Married's Class taught by Jeff & Dianne Green
  • Life Seekers Class taught by Jerry & Elaine Young
  • Sojourners Class taught by Rusty Barnes
  • Ambassador Class taught by Bill Haslam
  • Homebuilders Class taught by Steve Phillips
  • Fidelity Class (Seniors) taught by Mary Abdelbaset
  • Coffee Shop Theology taught by Steve Starkey
  • Upward Call (spiritual formation) taught by Steve Scott from 8:00-9:00am
We also have several ministries that help connect people, including:
  • Women's Ministry which includes Women of Faith studies and conferences and Apples of Gold mentoring program.
  • Men's Ministries which includes Pointe of Promise and Joshua's Men studies, OnPointe Ministries (outdoor recreation group), and Saturday morning prayer meeting.
  • Treasure Chest Ministries for Senior Adults.
  • LifeCare/Outreach Ministries which includes classes for Cancer support, GriefShare, Divorce recovery and other life care needs.
  • Sport Ministries which includes a variety of sports teams that are involved in our church and city sports leagues.

And this Fall we will have over 30 new small groups all over our area as we work together to create a lasting community of believers through corporate worship and small group meetings.

We would love for you to be involved in these dynamic groups.  If you would like some more information on how to get started, contact the church at 410-742-3840 or by email at linda@crosspointenaz.org .  We are better together!
