Teens

CONNECTING YOUTH at CROSS POINTE
youth circle  At Cross Pointe, we use several different tools to help create community and connectedness between our teens.  We believe very strongly that real growth in relationship with others and God happens best in a smaller group setting, so we strive to create those environments for our youth so their relationship with God can thrive.
Our Growth groups are our main avenue for accomplishing this.  They are small groups of teens that are of the same age and gender who meet together for the purpose of Bible study, prayer, connecting, accountability, fun and service to others.  We have two adult leaders assigned to each group and the groups are generally less than ten students.   They meet once a week on Monday nights at 7:00pm in various homes around the city.  It is a commitment to personal spiritual growth and to growth as a group and it is open to any teen who wants to make that commitment in their life.
CP youth     If you, or someone you know, would like some more information on our Growth Groups, contact Pastor Kevin pastorkevin@crosspointenaz.org at and we'll plug each teen in with whatever group is formed for his or her age and gender.
We also do some larger events to help bond the whole group together like our upcoming Teen Fall Retreat on September 28-30.  This is a camp-out retreat at Pocomoke River State Park in Maryland, and it is our combined retreat with 7th through 12th grades.  Here's what you can expect: spiritual growth; tons of FUN!; God being real; competition; fishing, bonding time with peeps.  You don't want your teen to miss out on what God wants to do in their life that weekend.  All the food and tents are provided, they just need to sign up and pay $40 by this Sunday.

Equipping teens for Christ-like living
